The Bride: From Eden to New Jerusalem, is a piece inspired by Revelation 21 where New Jerusalem is described as a "bride adorned for her husband." Throughout the Bible, the church is described as a bride, whose clothing and adornments are her faith and works pointing to the grace of God.
The jewelry depicted here is inspired by Christian symbolism: her left earring bears the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God), her right earring the Chi Rho (the first greek letters in Christ), her necklace displays Jesus is Lord in Ancient Greek, and her tiarra bears 3 petals representing God's triune nature.
In the background, we see the Garden of Eden on the left and New Jerusalem on the left. Together, they represent our journey from the comforts and security of home toward something greater.
